EYEBALL Halloween Popcorn Ball Treat

Materials Needed:  Kathy Kaye Popcorn Ball from Walmart, dipping chocolate, red string licorice, candy eye (or mini marshmallow and mini chocolate chip)

  1. You can either dip the Popcorn Ball in white chocolate or almond bark or leave it plain.
  2. Then cut strips of red string licorice to create the veins of the eyeball.
  3. Glue on an eyeball which you can purchase where they sell cake decorating supplies or take a mini marshmallow and glue on a mini chocolate chip.

Pumpkin Popcorn Ball Halloween Treat

Materials needed:  Kathy Kaye Popcorn Ball from Walmart,  orange and green food coloring, tootsie roll, green laffy taffy (dilute  food coloring with a little almond extract for flavor).

  1. Paint the Popcorn Ball with orange food coloring and let it dry.
  2. Mold the tootsie roll to look like a stem, give it a little bend.
  3. Then mold the green laffy taffy to look like a leaf.
  4. You can even paint some veins on the leaf with green food coloring.  Looks so real!

Pumpkin Popcorn Ball Halloween Treat

Materials needed:  Kathy Kaye Popcorn Ball from Walmart,  orange and green food coloring, tootsie roll, green laffy taffy (dilute  food coloring with a little almond extract for flavor).

KOOKY WITCH

Materials Needed:  Kathy Kaye™ Popcorn Ball from Walmart, green food coloring, candy eyes, candy corn, red string licorice, tootsie rolls, black string licorice, chocolate waffle cone, orange food coloring and M&M’s (dilute food coloring with a little almond extract for flavoring).

  1. Paint the Popcorn Ball with green food coloring and let it dry a bit.  
  2. While waiting for it to dry, soften the tootsie roll so you can mold it for the brim of the hat.
  3. Wrap the red string licorice around the tootsie rolls (for the legs) and attach with toothpicks.
  4. This will prevent the ball from rolling if you do this first!
  5. Cut the black string licorice and stick to the sides.
  6. Attach the molded brim to the ball and then cut the chocolate waffle cone so it sets on top of the brim.
  7. Paint the orange trim around the hat with food coloring or orange chocolate.
  8. Glue the M&M’s to the orange trim.
  9. Stick the candy eyes on along with a candy corn nose and a red string licorice frowny face.

KOOKY WITCH

Materials Needed:  Kathy Kaye™ Popcorn Ball from Walmart, green food coloring, candy eyes, candy corn, red string licorice, tootsie rolls, black string licorice, chocolate waffle cone, orange food coloring and M&M’s (dilute food coloring with a little almond extract for flavoring).

  1. Paint the Popcorn Ball with green food coloring and let it dry a bit.

CRAZY MONSTER

Materials needed:  Kathy Kaye™ Popcorn Ball from Walmart, purple and red food coloring, candy eyes, pink laffy taffy, cheese puff arms and candy corn (dilute food coloring with a little almond extract for flavor).

  1. Paint the Popcorn Ball with purple food coloring, and let it dry a bit.
  2. Paint the whites of the candy eyes with yellow food coloring and let dry for a minute.
  3. Form the tongue out of softened pink laffy taffy and paint a strip of red food coloring to form a crease.  Attach to the Popcorn Ball.
  4. Stick the cheese curls on for arms.
  5. Then the candy corn goes in the monsters head!

CRAZY GOON 1

Materials Needed:  Kathy Kaye™ Popcorn Ball from Walmart, green food coloring, purple, pink and yellow laffy taffy, black string licorice (dilute food coloring with a little almond extract for flavor)

  1. Paint the Popcorn Ball with green food coloring and let dry for a few minutes.
  2. While waiting, soften the laffy taffy so it is moldable.
  3. Flatten out the purple taffy to form the  face and center it on the ball.
  4. Make the lips out of the pink taffy and stick candy corn on for the arms.
  5. The yellow taffy forms the legs for the Goon!
  6. Cut strips of black string licorice and stick on top of its head.
  7. Last but not least create his sight with five candy eyes.
